Cast and Crew for a Haunted Attraction

Hiring cast and crew for a Haunted Attraction known as “BloodLake”. Please only serious actors/actresses and crew members. The haunted attraction will run all of the weekends in October and rehearsals start in early September. All cast and crew paid.

“Boo Camp” hiring clinics for all who are interested and you must go to at least one of these sessions if you want to be a part of this production. The first camp will be held Saturday, August 23rd from 1-4PM at Cobblestones Park. Directions and dates/times for the remaining Boo Camps are on the website.

As stated, these are paid positions and we are looking for a cast of 30 members. Actors 18 years and older are strongly preferred. Experience with short-form or improvisational acting is a plus, but first-time haunters are welcome to apply.

Actors Needed for VA Lottery Commercial

Virginia Lottery Commercial - Actors NeededModelogic is looking for male and female actors, ages 21-35, all races, to audition for an upcoming The Virgina Lottery commercial.

Especially needed is one African-American male actor, 21-35, to play the role of “The Excuser” (re-occurring role). This character is tall, cool and swanky. He ideally has an afro hairstyle.

This is a non union gig, and will become a re-occuring role, so actors local to Virginia are preferred.

The auditions are Monday, August 11th at Modelogic (Richmond), but you must call 804-644-1000 for a time slot and details.

Be prepared to e-mail a close up and a full length photo of yourself upon request.

Call backs will be Thursday, August 14th and the first shoot date is set for Aug 19 or 20th. If you are not available on the shoot dates please don’t contact Modelogic for consideration.

Talent Search for Young Actors

Young Actors NeededTalent Link is looking for young actors between the ages of 10 to 15 (all ethnicities, both genders) for a video shoot this fall.  The audition will be August 26. If cast, pay is $350 (minus agent’s 15%) per day. Actors must be

Short Film Casting Call

Richmond VA - Casting CallHandful of Dreams Productions and Jai’s Cinema, based in Richmond, are currently in the midst of casting for the short film, Recludere.

A groundbreaking film, directed by one of Richmond’s devout filmmakers, Hannah Hoover, that will intertwine elements from many well known films such as Fight Club, O’ Brother Where Art Thou and Memento, it is sure to captivate audiences with its intelligent writing and emotionally intricate plot.

48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project is in it’s second year running in Richmond and competition is heating up! The 48 Hour Film Project is a weekend where teams are given a genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue and then set into Richmond to write, shoot, and edit a film in 48 Hours! This year 34 teams are participating! The Plaid Connection did very well last year and we’re looking to repeat that success!

Due to the nature of the project, not knowing what characters we need to cast, we are auditioning for all parts. All ages, races, and genders are asked to try out for the film.
