Every single performer even those who have been in the business for years, are often still intimidated by the auditioning process. Auditioning is scary and you don’t get good at it over night.
You definitely need thick skin to be a performer, but keep punching away at the auditions and before you know it, you’ll get the gig.
You will hear a lot more no thank you’s and you’ll hear from us than Congratulations.
It’s a tough job but extremely rewarding.

Good Afternoon!
Our organization, Lopez Studios, Inc, is a private performing arts school located in Reston, VA. We are hosting a Making It On Broadway Winter Intensive Camp this January and are interested in posting audition information on your website. I do not know if this is something you generally do, with regards to posting auditions for camps/workshops – We just recently discovered your wonderful site and have not had a chance to fully explore what all you have to offer.
Just to give you some background on the camp, it is a 2-day intensive camp focused on helping campers prepare for professional Music Theater auditions. It is to be held in late January and is open to performers age 10 years old through adult. The camp is run by Broadway professionals Jodie Langel and Kim Steiner, and campers must audition for and be accepted into the camp. We welcome any guidance regarding your webpage, and we hope to hear from you soon.
